Apple watch has some pros while wear os has others. Comes down to what you need, prefer and can afford as to which platform is the best. For me a lot of the "extra features" an apple watch provides is pointless, and I find a lot of the wear os features like greater watch face customization, AOD (though apple now has this) were more important.
