TheAwakened is the third Sherlock Holmes game by Frogwares and marks the developer's biggest departure from its earlier efforts. Released in 2007 for PC, The Awakened does away with the point-and-click interface and is the first 3D Sherlock Holmes game. Players explore using a first-person perspective, although a 2008 remaster Lovethe game. Probably not a good party game because it’s a lot of reading and critical thinking, but for a group of 2-3 people it’s really good. I recommend skipping the YouTube reviews of this game if you’re a Sherlock fan (mechanically they’re fine, but they really miss the mark on the game’s Sherlock lore).

. Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One is a big story-driven game with familiar characters, captivating cases to solve, and a big open island to explore. All the fantastical stuff aside, the team at Frogwares treats Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's work with utmost respect, and for that we are grateful. FULL REVIEW PlayStation 5.
SherlockHolmes was not at all averse to doing whatever it took to win a case, and he often played the game for the games own sake. It was followed up in 2011 by Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows.
